Fly birds of prey to the glove.

Bird of Prey Falconry Experience

Get up close and personal with some of nature’s magnificent and regal birds of prey. You’ll learn all about the art of falconry and have a chance to try it for yourself.

Your experience starts with a tour of the bird of prey centre, where you’ll get up close and personal with different species and learn what makes a hawk a hawk, a falcon a falcon and an owl an owl. Then you’ll get expert tuition in the art of falconry and have time to handle the birds so that you get comfortable with them and they get comfortable with you.

Next it’s time to try out falconry for real - you’ll fly some birds to the fist, watching them show off their skills and getting some thrills medieval-style when a top predator comes into land on your glove.

Sunrise Hot Air Ballooning Experience

Watch the world wake up on your dawn balloon flight

Sunrise Hot Air Ballooning Experience

How often have you heard someone say they’d love to do ‘one of those’ when they see a Hot Air Balloon float silently overhead?

Give someone special this gift experience and they will find themselves in the basket of a hot air balloon watching the world wake up. The experience starts by firstly meeting your pilot for the flight and get an all important flight safety briefing. You then have to help with preparing and inflating the balloon before climbing into the basket for launch time.

Your flight will reach heights of 5,000 feet, giving you ample time to watch the beautiful views of the countryside drift silently by. You will hear no wind noise because the balloon travels at the same speed and with the wind. When you eventually land, you will then help to deflate the balloon and help pack it all away. You will then have earnt a welcome glass of champagne (or soft drink).

It’s then a trip back to the launch area by road and upon arrival you will be presented with a commemorative flight certificate to take home with you to remind you of your Hot Air Ballooning experience.

Feel the rush of the wind in an open cockpit of a Tiger Moth or vintage biplane in this excellent Flight Gift Experience. You wil be taken back through the years when aviation was all about freedom and adventure in the open air.

Upon arrival, you will need to attend a pre-flight briefing, then you move on to get fitted for a Biggles-stle flying jacket (you’ll need it!) before you climb into the cockpit. Depending on your location, you will be flying in either a Tiger Moth or a 1930s Stampe SV4.
